Meeting Flight ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that reminds you of upcoming Google Calendar meetings by displaying an animated banner in your browser. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
With your permission, the extension uses Google OAuth to read your Google
Calendar events (the calendar.events.readonly scope). It reads
only the event title, start time, and meeting link for events in the next
24 hours, solely to schedule and display reminders.
Calendar data is used only to show you meeting reminders. Your settings (such as your reminder lead time) and a short-lived cache of upcoming events are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage. The extension accesses calendar data on a read-only basis and never modifies your calendar.
The extension does not operate any server. Your calendar data and settings never leave your device except in the direct, encrypted request your browser makes to Google's own Calendar API. We do not collect, sell, transmit, or share your data with any third party. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, or any purpose unrelated to showing meeting reminders.
To display the reminder banner on the page you are currently viewing, the extension injects a temporary visual element into the active tab at the moment a reminder fires. It does not read, collect, or transmit the content of the pages you visit.
You can disconnect your calendar at any time from the extension's popup, which revokes the stored token. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data.
